Ladybug robotics was an early stage startup aiming to automate pruning in vineyards. It was my first exposure to working in not only and engineering company, but also with working in a startup. During my tenure with the company I worked on hardware, software, and everything inbetween.
My key contributions to the organization include:
Engineering a pruning end effector
Designing and fabricating a sheet metal body for the mobile base, internal electronics, and 6 DoF arm
Creating a weatherproof covering for the 6
Designing a camera rig for data collection
Creating a pipeline for converting camera and other sensor data into point clouds
